يحتوي دليل تصميم طبقات الرصف للطرق على اجراءات تصميم الانواع التالية من الرصف

الرصف المرن المكون من اكثر من طبقة
االرصف الصلب (أي الأرصفة الخرسانية)
يتضمن توصيف المواد وحركة المرور لتقييم ودراسات أداء الرصف والتصميم المنهجية
.يمكن استخدام هذا الدليل في:
تصميم الرصف المرن لحركة المرور العادية
تطوير مخططات التصميم من أجل مرونة الأرصفة لظروف محددة حسب الحاجة بواسطة المستخدم (يتم تضمين أمثلة المخططات في ملف دليل لمدخلات التصميم والأداء المحددالمعلمات)؛

Scope of the Guide
The Austroads Pavement Design Guide contains
procedures for the design of the following forms of
road pavement construction:
flexible pavements consisting of unbound granular
materials;
flexible pavements that contain one or more bound
layers;
rigid pavements (i.e. concrete pavements); and
this Guide represents a major revision of the 1992
Austroads Guide to the Structural Design of Road
Pavements. It incorporates substantial improvements
that have resulted from Australian and overseas
research into materials characterisation, traffic
assessment, pavement performance studies and design
methodology.
This Guide may be used for the:
design of flexible pavements for conventional road
traffic;
development of design charts for flexible
pavements for specific conditions as required
by the user (example charts are included in the
Guide for specific design input and performance
parameters);
design of rigid pavements for conventional road
traff
